    ... We arrived in the evening where John, his friend Luke and the owner of the farm Father Bud.
    The next day, we went to Williamsburg, a few miles west of Iowa City. We rode about 110km (68 miles) and were surprised by the huge hills. Dan and Nancy, from warmshowers, were able to host us. We had a lovely time with them, they provided us with a delicious meal and gave us a tour of their town.

    We've been back a couple of days now and are starting to get reoriented to the time difference. Trying to stay awake past 8 P.M. is still a challenge--it still feels like 2 A.M.     ... to Americans along the way, everyone has been asking 'why on earth are you going to Iowa? Do you like corn?' Well, in actual fact we do!!
