I'm not sure what the other hotels are like on Amelia Island, but this one is just fine. It isn't fantastic, but I'm certainly not complaining. Breakfast is a bit odd as it is a strange help yourself sort of thing. Bizarrely there is a Brit (English lady) who works on Reception. She remembered me from the last time by the way. She welcomes bumping in to fellow Brits as Amelia Island isn't a place that we would normally visit.

So we take stock and off we go again. Oh did I mention it's a 3 hour drive. To compound matters I miss the Amelia Island turn off. What a dork! We reach the hotel at 11pm. No Sliders Bar tonight.
Our work is just across the border in Georgia. We are meant to be here a week, but due to unforeseen circumstances it looks as though the plug is going to be pulled on it.
Monday evening we decide to go to dinner will our American colleagues as we all will probably be going home soon. Mill house Kingsland Georgia is the place of choice. I …

His english was far superior to my spanish which helped. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was a movie option and at the recommendation of Matt Meadows, I fired it up, sat back and relaxed. For those that haven't seen it, it's worth checking out. But the reason I bring it up ...
