This was our first tour of the day. It was chilly so the park ranger let us stay in the ranger office until the tour started. The national sport of Canada is Lacrosse,Canada and the US are as multi-effnic as the UK. It seems to be cheaper to eat out than to buy groceries to cook in. Meal portions are still huge, but not as proverbially large as one might imagine. It is no wonder there is an obesity problem in the US - have you seen the size of their hamburgers and fries. US fuel costs are higher than expected. US people have ...

... Now we have a car, we can stop at will (well almost) and can enjoy our own lunch choice. Another dose of retail therapy too - Steph skipped the tablecloths and opted for new jeans, while I thought of next summer and bought a pair of shorts from Sears! Exciting stuff, eh?
Supper at Denny's again, I'm afraid, just next door. We're now beginning the real Fall holiday tour and are looking at our options on a daily basis. ...
