Today was the day I don't think either of us were looking forward to, mainly just because it involved the longest drive of 4.5 hours. But considering the fact we drive 9.5 hours on our trip last year from Wyoming to South Dakota, this didn't look so bad. ... that. So now we have our camera and iphone replaced so we are both feeling a little more restored now.
We head back to our hotel for lunch, and take refuge from the heat. We had a really restful afternoon, watched movies, Aaron went for a swim in the pool full of a million children. The evening came around quickly and we enjoyed some red wine and a healthy home cooked meal. Aaron set up the camera and fiddled around with it and we went to bed fairy ...
... for the night. We had so much fun at the dinner show, the food was very good , the entertainment was hilarious. We all laughed along , spun our napkins over our heads and enjoyed it immensely. The highlight of the night though was that Rob was chosen to be in the final number of the show. Well, I will let the pictures( or video, if I can upload it) speak for itself. ... turned up for a drive along in a NASCAR car, goodness they are are rough as guts. The noise when they started them up was like a shed full of tractors, they were horrible smelly things, I can only assume that NASCAR stands for Noisy and Smelly CAR, or Nasty and Stinky, or maybe just Naff and Stupid, either way alongside the Supercars they were just all of the above. ... postcard were in there. We went back to ask a ride attendant and they said they would look in the boats when they came back around. Ollie then began to worry that it might have come out of the boat as we went down the final drop! Just at that point one of the ride attendants came over and said she had found it and had taken it back to the exit. Reunited with the bag we were surprised to find that it was hardly wet at all thankfully my Harry Potter postcard had survived ...
