... Kaleb that he had to get a least $10 of food on his plate. Well, he did what he was told but chose to do it by getting only dessert! I on the other hand went all out and even got steak! It was delicious. We headed back to the hotel and got into our swimming suits. All of us had a great time. Kylee took a few minutes to get use to the water but had a blast. 3:30 pm - Finally reached Tennessee! We had another hour long, slow-moving delay near Corbin, Kentucky. I'd driven 80 miles and the breeze is really stiff. We decided to take a stretch break at the Tennessee Welcome Station.

Woke up this morning to 22 degrees and clear. Yesterday it snowed on and off all day although it never did stick to the ground. Now we have officially reached the coldest weather we will probably see on our trip. Love our down comforters.

Kentucky!!!

The drive through from Washington has been spectacular. Kentucky country is just beautiful with a very green countryside. The homes are quite traditional as you see in the movies generally having a large well kept space of lawn around them and usually no fences.
