    ... much hotter than this?!..yikes!! I did manage to find decent storage for the van ( my faithful steed)..so will be dropping that off on Sunday...? "separation anxiety"?? I must say,tho' ...this 'pre- boarding period' /from the time I left the cabin seems like the longest time ever!!  If the trip maintains this 'speed' -- I'm in for a long ride!!! Ok ...there really isn't anything of interest to report - not even any of the picsare noteworthy ...but I just wanted to fill in that ...

    ... Tony and Liza on the sailboat Inspiration. Tony knows the area and it was nice to have someone experienced to follow. It let me get on with all the other things that i had to do and i could just let Craig or Christa follow them while I got on with it.

    Firrst few opening bridges went well. They are worse than the french locks in that some only open at set times. Some open when you ask. But the set time bridges dont allow enou time to get ...

    ... and headed for the ocean. You can see in the pictures and the video that the water was not very high but Jeff was able to bend down so Andrew could be in the water. He started kicking his legs right away, just like he had done when we put his feet in the pool. Apparently he knows what he is doing ;-)

    We feel really blessed to have been able to take this extended trip and are really enjoying our time together as a family :)

    ... Holyyyyyy Jumpin's! Now on to unique South Florida Folk. I shared our experience on the bus with a women who strongly resembled the house keeper from "Gone With The Wind", right! Well today, bus again, we arrive at a bus stop to find this young lady with half her head shaved then a waffle design buzz cut into what was left, then dyed blond while the rest of her hair, which was dark brown, was done in multiple braids for the other ...

    ... deal with camping but she was just excited as myself to get away!

    5 o'clock hits and we're both out of work and packing up the car. This was the tough part trying to get all the supplies we needed to be in the woods for a couple days. Finally got the car packed and the dogs loaded up and we were off!

    Since we left around 5:30 we were heading to Jacksonville for the night, to stay with our good friend ...
