... Falls, we passed the huge Dallas Speedway/NASCAR track, which seats 190,000 and is one of the biggest around. The area north of Dallas is in severe drought and the drive was very uninteresting and pretty boring - we pushed on until 5.30ish and decided to find a motel in Vernon. Back in the old boring real world, I’m still recovering from the Pittsburgh Marathon but starting to train for the NYC Marathon. It’s been hot hot hot in the Burgh. Like loss of 6 pounds in 5 miles hot. Looking forward to the Brentwood 5K on July 4th!
