This morning we wandered a few steps over the sand dune and down to the beach. Dolphins glided by, crabs scampered about, kids frolicked in the surf, and a slightly overweight pasty white couple waded into the ocean in their underwear…not quite the Norman Rockwell painting, but close enough for us. After packing up, we took a much needed and enjoyed cool shower before hitting the road again.

... for Christmas. I know my mom and dad are sad I won't be here yet happy for Johnnie and me. Our plane leaves this afternoon and all is ready. I am awaiting Johnnie to return from work and my limousine. (It is really my mom and dad's truck but limousine sounded much more sophisticated.)
