It was neat to see the Liberty Bell up close without any barriers and to be able to take pictures of it with us (and of it with Independence Hall in the background). We then left downtown Philadelphia in search of Tony Luke's, purported to be an authentic source of Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. By ...

... back across the street and found the desk where we bought our tickets. We had half an hour until our tour....10:30am. Just enought time to see the Liberty Bell again! There was no need to read all the info this time, we just headed straight for the bell and took some pictures. It was the perfect way to pass some time, and after 15 minutes or so, we headed sheepishly back through the security gates for Independence Hall.
