    ... as it's such a lush day. There are some crazy characters down there. Just outside of muscle beach (where arnie was spotted) stood an oiled up black pensioner with a boom box standing in red pants just jamming along. He had probably just been to the herbal medicines shop where it's legal to buy weed if you have such conditions as sleep deprivation or back ache.     ... a bit further to see some funky looking houses right on the beach. Once we returned the bikes by 5pm we got a corn dog and I got some good photos of the sun setting behind the theme park on the pier.     ... pictures of sets like western towns, suburbs and subways. We even had to be quite as we passed through a set of "Suburbs" a new show being filmed now. I took a shot of Bates Orel and they had an actor putting a body in the back of a car and playing the part.
