. . .After going through customs and then the baggage area (yeah, no lost luggage - Monise I did however take your MOTL advice and packed a few days worth of clothes in my carry-on) I knew I would recognize Mark (duh) but felt a little like I was the deer in the headlights . .luckily, he found me. Next stop Israelphones to get a SIM card. FYI, my phone worked fine with the SIM card. I got an ...

Favorability is a feeling that occurs mostly when their is a group of people and you have to choose who you want to be with. In this situation many things go through ones head. In my opinion the main one is who is my friend or who do I like the most. Also yes, it does exist all you have to do is witness a P.E. class with teams and you'll see that the team captains will pick their favorite people first until the lamest kid is left. Great food and service in a fab beach front location in 22+ degrees heat. Hopped on the bus back to Rodeo Drive and realised we have no way of making the 1800 last bus from Chinese Theatre and so we were faced with a 3k+ walk either way. We opted to get off at Rodeo Drive and walk. After around 1.5k and a trip to Petco (for dog/cat toys) for a ...

... trainers. From out of various holes and doors we saw cats, dogs, birds and guinea pigs all perform amusing tricks. Many of the animals came from rescue homes and were obviously well treated. They were all so clever! Overall we were there over 7 hours so at least we got our money's worth. We had dinner at a tapas restaurant where the server was a it too sales-hard. Still, the wines were half ...

Ok. So after the tour finished we ended up in L.A. I had heard bad things from the beginning about it so I was only really planning to stay for a couple of days and head up the coast. Luckily for me George had been to L.A. and had stayed in Santa Monica before so she knew some nice spots. She already had a hostel booked for two nights before she had to fly back home (sad face). So I managed to get into the same hostel. Sweet. Once we said our goodbyes and things to ...
