Due to Hurricane Arthur, the Outerbanks (OBX as everyone refers to it here) was not what we hoped it to be. I had no idea what to expect traveling to the region for the first time. For those of you who have little inclination of what the Outerbanks are, it is one major highway (HW 12), which runs for roughly 100 miles down the eastern coast of North Carolina.
