Went for a hike in the Sonoran Desert. Cloudy day but still warm which made for perfect hiking weather. Cool terrain, we were hoping to see some of the animals of the desert but they were all in hiding. Had a tour of downtown Scottsdale on the trolley. Scottsdale seems very high end ...

... dinner instead of lunch and ended up at Yen Chin where Phil and I like to eat. LouLi was happy to see us. So off to bed and I promise to start packing tomorrow. I am anxious to head east! 111 degrees!

... remain on the stage during the ceremony. That meant we had to look our absolute best, since we had 150 people watching our every move.

The Friday night rehearsal dinner was followed by an “out-of-towner” party hosted by the bride’s parents. Both events went well, and the Desert Mountain house was a perfect venue – huge patio framing a dazzling desert sunset, followed by the twinkling lights of Phoenix in the distance. Plenty of food and drink ...
