Today we drove from San Diego to John Whitworth's home close to Morro Bay. He doesn't have wifi so I can't publish this yet. We drove on 101 through Malibu. We stopped at Santa Monica pier and ate lunch at the Blue Plate taco restaurant. John lives in the mountains at 2000 feet in Atascadero He has a very comfortable guest room. Tomorrow we go to Hearst castle. This afternoon we went for a tour of Moro Bay ...

He gets the gear then sells it off making bit of money. Unfortunately the past ...

Our best plan to date ...

... have befriended the Canadian team and finished the day trying to finish off the beer and wine in the beer tent with them with renditions of our national anthems. Needless to say we were the last to leave, happy but very tired. Quiet night last night, Karen is hobbling with one sore ankle and muscles long forgotten about but thankfully no injuries. This time next week will be home, where did that time ...
