      ... parallel with the Mexican border and are carrying our passports with us just in case we are stopped and asked for identification for the next week. We can literally see Mexico only about a 1km or so away. We stopped in El Centro for a comfort break at 10.00 am for 25 minutes and grabbed a caramel brew, reminder not to get one of those again!       ... just north of Downtown San Diego. We had seen Cheesecake Factory restaurants everywhere we had been but hadn't ever gone in. All three of us decided to head in as we were so hungry.       Started our trek up the coast to investigate the California beaches. Started at the Cabrillo National Monument and lighthouse. Took a walk down to the water to check out the tide pools at low tide but we didn't see any marine life from our spot on the rocks and it was a little tricky getting down the rocks any further.       ... where we met some more Rhinos and heaps more animals which I can't actually remember the names of!

      The tour took us back through to the Africa exhibit where we stopped to feed one of the Giraffes, while feeding him one of the others came over and we got to take pictures of both of them, they are such beautiful animals! The tour went so quick but we got such a close up look at how these animals live.
