... Bloomingdales and Dylans Candy Store. In summary, FAO Schwarz was under whelming, I was expecting more. I checked out the big keyboard, lots of kids on it. Tiffanys, multiple levels of bling in all different price points. I didn't buy anything. Bloomingdales, blew my birthday money here on a new handbag. Love it! Dylans Candy Store, madness - but like a mini Wonkaville.

The subway was next to be ticked off and thanks to a wonderful lady who has travelled the world and was happy to do a pay back/pay forward for all her travelling help over the years, we got on the right train, got off at the right place and made it to the ticket booth for the 9/11 memorial grounds. Very, very sobering place which is obviously still being visited by ppl from all over the world in huge numbers each ...

I started at 42nd Street and walked down to China Town. 1st stopp was at B+H Photo. I didn't shop anything, but I met Enrique Badulescu. He is one of the member of this years Germanys next Topmodel. He was in hurry, shopping some lightning gear. Was looking all day long for Heidi, but I didn't see hear :-(

Today we are having a quite morning and then trying out the subway. The weather is becoming very cold and its raining. Snow is on its way and a white Christmas is on the cards. So we are donning the long johns and trying to find as much we can do under cover. This afternoon is the Metropolitan Museum.
