... br> Things are winding down here in Paradise. We
attended the final due of the park, a pool party which included all you could
eat Hamburg’s and hot dogs, supplied by the park, and various dishes brought in
by the upwards of 200 that attended, including the Mercedes Police department
who must have confused the sign at the front of the park to a Tim Horton’s. It

disappointing, compared to some of the great eateries here in the Valley. Look
out Riverside, because they are working on rebuilding and reviving the now
      famous Pepe’s on ...

... so yes half as much higher and must be added to the totals. My point is, at least for us, considering I have shut the house right down, no heat, no cable, no phone, no Internet, we are way ahead of the game. Our costs here are approximately $1500.00 for a 4 month stay here in the south, $1600.00 in diesel fuel costs, plus throw in an extra $400 for incidental (bar) costs, it has been much cheaper, and that much more pleasant to be here in the south for the winter. I guess some ...

      Laundry day!

A travel blog entry by clara.sayre on Feb 21, 2014

I do not even remember laying my head down on my pillow last night. I was completely comatose to the world, not even waking up when John came to bed or later when he covered us in our down comforter because it got really chilly. I barely even heard the alarm when it went off. Today was crew laundry day, so once we found the Excursion on the lot, we loaded the laundry in and drove ourselves (and Jason, who joined us to do ...
