From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. To further complicates matters, I had forgotten to update my TomTom and the roadways and tollways have changed a lot around Frisco. I followed the exit instructions the nice but rather insistent lady-voice was telling me only to end up missing ...
... things: Charming streets and shops. Architecture always appeals to me.
Best food: Tapas during the flamenco show; French dessert!
Thing I'd like to bring back to the U.S.: Cheap, excellent wine
What I would do differently: Read up on the historic sites before visiting
Other thing I would do differently: Give more thought to photo taking; i.e. what would be good for printing and framing.
