    ... in the continental United States. While clearly over-the-top, the Biltmore manages to be pretty at the same time. The grounds are gorgeous and the stand of pink boxers (?) wearing golf shoes out front and red alligators on the lawn, all with bottles of water strapped to their backs, a golfer's homage to the mountaineer's St. Bernard, indicate that perhaps the hotel doesn't take itself all that seriously.

    ... heading in the general direction we guessed Orlando was in to find the highway going north. The only directions we had were downloaded from google maps and saved onto the iPad, so if we took a wrong turn we were pretty screwed.
