    I hate the first day of a trip. I usually sleep poorly the night before [yup]. You have paid for the trip but have had nil of its benefits. It is always difficult leaving the folks.

    ... pick them up, thanks to Brock, Ted and all. On return we prepared the EZ, completed the refuelling and we were soon ready to depart for our long flight around the Great Lakes of Superior and Huron to Hamilton on the western shore of Lake Ontario.
