    The girls and I are taking an extended vacation to New Zealand. We left may 1st and we will be gone for SIX months! I just thought I would mix it up a little from the traditional summer trip to New Jersey, and wow did I mix it up! Since the girls are home educated, this is a great opportunity to really see another part of the world.     ... in Cartagena at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning and will be leaving again at 1 p.m. I’m eating a little dinner now…crackers, hot tea, green apple. Hopefully, I’ll keep this down.     ... how this happened and the history. They were really kind to me, told me that if I didn’t like the food I didn’t need to eat of if I didn’t want to try it, it was okay with them. To me, it was really different from the food I usually eat, but I tried it even though I didn’t like everything I’m glad I learned about a new culture which make this blog one of the most interesting I did so far.

    When we got to Fort Lauderdale, there were five ships in the cruise terminal, including Allure of the Seas, one of the biggest cruise ships around. That evening, all five departed, leaving the seaport empty of cruise ships. Early in the morning, the Prinsendam came into port.
