We got back to our site, washed the mud from our shoes and here we sit. No storm yet, but it has cooled down to about sixty-five degrees. Calm and green! Those are two of our favorite colors.

... of our new tires. Fortunately we were at an exit with the company that sold us the tires, so it was easy and quick. We only lost about 15 minutes travel time. It turned out to be a leaky stem. What started as a wonderful driving day ended with a belly ache from the bad creamer at the Exxon Station in Lamar, TX. Colin found us a quiet spot where I spent the afternoon and evening vegging on the couch. Survived my first sick day on the road.
It was wet, windy, and gloomy so Colin spent most of it indoors too. He took a walk out on the pier but the surf was pretty angry so he didn't go far.
