Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...
Folks, we have a winner. My journey continues up the east coast to Airlie Beach. One long overnight bus ride later, I arrive to Airlie and instantly put it in my top 10. We each had a business class seat & we pranced quickly to get on the flight & enjoy the on-board champagne. But ...
... flight to Paris was leaving from International Terminal F, that other cool side of the airport, according to Kim, that one rarely gets to experience. Indeed, Terminal F was cool. As compared to the crowded corridors in all of the other terminals and the close quarters along with all those people, we rode up the escalator to wide open spaces filled with Duty Free shopping and a newly remodeled area that definitely had some curb appeal.
