... a glorious goodbye to her loyal fans. San Francisco was the city where the Dame performed her first US show so tonight would no doubt hold sentimental value. It was the late Joan Rivers who urged Mrs Everage to perform in the Golden State and if not for Joan the Great Dame may not have become one America's major and hugely loved theatrical attractions. We then raced home grabbed a bite to eat and took off again for the airport to pick Chelsea up. Fortunately San Francisco airport is very well organised and well sign posted so we had no problems at all. Chelsea had a great time at the camp, and wants to go again! Tomorrow after the meeting we set off for ...

... of San Francisco skyline in less than 5 minutes. It is rather brilliant what they can do with cans of spray paint. Also a multi instrumental musician with guitar, keyboard, drums, tambourine, harmonica and other bells and whistles. Calls himself the Lone Sound Ranger.
Lunch was at the Pier Market Restaurant. Love the Chowder but was disappointed with the Seafood Platter. Not what we expected -too much batter - and rather overpriced for the selection on the plate. ...
