    We will head north from Vacaville on I-505, a connector freeway to I-5. This is the portion of the drive that transforms from a white knuckle ride to the equivalent of driving with Miss Daisy. From there it is a enjoyable country drive for hundreds of miles. We will most likely overnight in or around Redding.
