    ... with a mirror in front, and a few shelves, so I put some of my things in there. The view from the window is of a service courtyard looking at other windows - not far away. There are no terylene curtains, so that if we open the heavy curtains, anyone can see in ! So we have to keep them shut, really, and then it's pretty dull and no brightness in the room.     ... Across the grassy square is a stable with old buggies and wagons and behind the stables is a blacksmith building with many of the tools used all those years ago.
