    ... morning today. Headed for the laundromat and did up a couple of loads, then went adventuring. Went to the mounds at Ocmulgee National Monument and had a great visit. Good museum and video, amazing gathering mound with chief's circle, and visits to outside of funeral and other mounds.     ... Gamble. Crossing the Ohio River into Kentucky there was a cloud of salt dust and you could see that Kentucky had more snow than Ohio but still the roads were good.

    Headed N on Sat. Took all morning to get packed up & leave. Tried for a visit w Nanette- she was on E Coast. Then got off on 60 in Tpa to see Su & Joel in hospital but they took her for MRI so we turned back to hwy. nice lunch at Sweet Tom. Arrived at Comfort Inn Macon, GA apex 8:30pm then to B&N till 10pm.
