... Wooden picture frames can be painted to help the accent the room. Fan blades can be reversed and painted with designs to add cool effects when in use and then can be reversed when it's time to re-decorate. A travel blog entry by naterackers on May 26, 2014

I'm a fan of Priceline for hotel booking but it led us astray this time. If you ever find yourself in Junction City KS please stay away from the Great Western Inn. There is nothing great about it. I can live with decor out of the 1970s but I can't deal with dirt and scum from the 1970s. I don't have terribly high standards for hotels but this one was disgusting. The inside of ...

My fearless leader who took the wheel after we left Topeka didn't check the gas gauge. We made it to Manhattan with about 2 miles to spare (according to the truck). We spent a lot of time "nursing it" and coasted down a 2 mile hill which probably saved us. Once we got to the gas station we messed around for about 2 minutes because dad didn't know if the guy at the pump was leaving or not. We are back on the road now and have about 30 minutes until we get to the hotel.
