... had to act like school kids as you are not supposed to drink in state parks , the ranger came by twice to check . ... 8217;s surface was covered in fragrant water lilies. It was still early to see the lily pads in peak bloom, but we did find a few beautiful flowers. We are ending our three month travels cross-country on a high note. Each part of our journey holds a special memory. One is not better than the other but each have given us something to hold onto.

Booked us into a Days Inn that thankfully had rooms, our first night winging it without accommodation booked a success!
