    Today the mission team leaving for Nicaragua on Saturday met to pack 14 crates - 50 lbs each to take with us. There were a variety of items included in the crates from school supplies, clothing and medical scrubs to Bibles, soccer balls, teddy bears, pillow case dresses, fudge, home sown shorts and beanie babies.

    ... pinhead-as it is another whole entity to itself. We grilled out that evening and just beat a storm that rolled in. The next morning we woke to rain and it continued all day. Gave Elena a chance to start working on her quilt. She did so well and after a few blocks had gained the confidence she needed to use the sewing machine.     ... else there was to do at Churchill Downs.  Turns out - there's a LOT to do at Churchill Downs on non-racing days!  We ended up spending the entire day, but not before we shed a few more tears at the statue and final resting place of Barbaro.
