    ... like waters. But it was beautiful. There are walkways all along the canals, running right behind people's houses so it was a little awkward sometimes but everyone I passed by was very friendly, so it was fine. Some houses had beautiful landscaping, beautiful flowers, and boats docked in the water. It was really amazing. Definitely worth walking a few blocks away from the beach and exploring if you're ever there.

    Check-in time was by now almost done, and being the discount operator that they are, there was no leeway to be had with Spirit Airlines. The check-in lady pointed me in the general direction of the Departure Tax Office. I hurried over. The officer there gave a sage nod and told me that I had to pay 0 pesos in tax. I looked at him bewildered and he gave me a receipt, apparently confirming this.

    FINALLY last night we slept better! You really do appreciate sleep once the jetlag starts to slowly wear off. It's a shame that just as we adjust to the California time zone we are about to change to New York City's time which is 3 hours ahead of LA. Hoping it won't be too dramatic. We had breakfast again this morning at the Storyteller's Cafe in the Disneyland resort as today was our last morning in Anaheim. Nice to see the characters again! ...
