Today our group got to spend a full day at Universal / Islands of Adventure and boy did they soak in as much as they possibly could. I unfortunately was back under the covers at the hotel as my head cold came out full force. After a 8;30am start, some of the group didn't return until after midnight! Huge amounts of fun was had with highlights being the hogwarts express train which links ...

... years of Universal. It was a cool show, with film projections onto water. In all this was a good start to our two weeks of theme park action. We got back quite late, so went round to Giardinos Pizza and got two of the cheesiest pizzas ever. Tomorrow is Disney Hollywood Studios. Ride count. Gringot's x 2, Men In Black x 1, Simpsons x 1, Despicable Me x 2. Rockit x 1, T2 3D x 1, Transformers x 2, Disaster x 1, The Mummy x 1, Shrek 4D x 1, ET x 1, Animal Show x ...

Nancy ordered the roasted half chicken, Courtney chose the four cheese mac & cheese, and I ordered the short ribs ...

... looking at yet another serene scene. Traveling through the Chilean side of Patagonia is another trip highlight. The colors in this barren and forbidding land are mostly browns and tans, but occasionally green grass and yellow flowers explode from the ground. We see one farm in the miles and miles of emptiness. Sheep dot the land and the occasional bird swoops down to munch on something. Penguins. That’s all we have to say about ...

... dirty diaper. Gross! We also had to stop at other resorts, which took forever. We are spoiled by staying at resorts that don't shred bus service. Honestly, we don't have any desire to stay at a deluxe resort after this. Our stay at Coronado has been amazing. Anyway, we got to Hollywood Studios with about an hour to spare. The lights were amazing. After that, we had just enough time to ride Star Tours twice. It was back to Coronado after ...
