      A New Home

A travel blog entry by ptkeil on May 21, 2013

For those of you who may not know, I have been slighted by TA and am done with them and their shena****ns, but all the better. Sometimes change opens new doors and opportunities.

I went back to a website I visited periodically quite a time back but never really frequented lately (due to being primarily on TA for over a decade), and found they have made some incredible gains, including but not limited to a Trip Planner feature, notifications when ...

      Sleepy rider

A travel blog entry by ronald.mccall on Jan 14, 2011

Nothing like a quick lapse of insomnia when you should be sleeping so you can drive, luckily I had a very short distance to travel, so I was just singing along to ****** songs to keep my brain awake. It worked quite nicely, which I was happy to find out, because I didn't want to trade off if I didn't have to.

We unhooked the trailer, got a bit of bunk time, and have the ability to shower for free. Speaking of which, I am gonna go do that now.

      Day Two: Cross-town Rivalry Game!

A travel blog entry by jenfifi on Jul 02, 2006

Today we slept in (I wonder why?!) and headed to the big cross-town rivalry baseball game at Wrigley Field (the Addison stop of the Red Line) at 1:20pm. We stopped at good old Burrito Beach next to our hotel for a quick bite before we left. (This is a cheap place like a Chipolte, Chris likes the shrimp burrito I like the chicken.) This was a tough ticket to get, Chris managed to get two near third base for $105 a piece from ...
