I left Jacksonville bound for Houston and Buenos Aires by plane, and eventually to Parana, by bus. From wheels up in Jville to a warm embrace from Maxi (my Argentine exchange brother from high school) it was a total of 26 hours and over 5,000 miles. It was a long but smooth trip and it was worth every minute of it to catch up with him and his family Luli and Franco. (he's a 3 year old tazmanian devil but mostly human Maxi assures me) ...

Due to unforseen family medical issues we spent a good part of 2014 at Riverfront Campground. I spent most of the weeks here and lori was with me on the weekends. Several of the folks from Alamacontee Campground {allan & Nannette, Ed & Cindy and Gus & Marilynn} and Larry was right down the road at white shell also. Spent a lot of time fishing off of Ed ...

... lunch. Joan had already consulted her AAA book and found a recommendation for the Plum restaurant and it wasn't hard to find. It was on the main street and upon entering, we were hit with the smell of food that only a good restaurant can produce. It was not fancy at all, with old tables and chairs all filled with eager eaters. The back of the restaurant was all glass, with an old door leading out to an outdoor patio. Past that, there was a public grassy area leading ...
