Sydney at the front desk is wonderful. She upgraded us to a suite because it was our anniversary weekend and took great care of us. The hotel is very nice and their renovation is nearly complete (did not notice any work going on currently, but they have the new decor and beds). Would gladly stay here again. Jeff, working the bellstand/valet, was a great help with all of our baby stuff and luggage.

To say I'm terrified would be a gross understatement. However, I'm looking forward to being fully immersed in a new culture; new food, new language, new people, new adventures. Here's hoping this trip is all I could've dreamed of and so much more.

We hit the road and had our sights set on the opposite end of Missouri....St. Louis. It took us longer than we thought and, even though we only made one quick stop to grab a lunch to go, we still didn't arrive into town until 4pm. But it was just in time to catch the 4 o'clock tour of the Budweiser factory! I didn't know this before I googled 'points of interest in St. Louis', but it is the original home of the ...

We are only a couple of hours from Indy, so took a leisurely morning, sleeping in a bit and taking a swim. We went to Bob Evan's - we got a table right away but the place was mobbed and the kitchen badly backed up. Still, we weren't in a rush and ...

... 160; The Corvette Museum ended up being a REALLY cool experience.  With Chevy in our blood and Adam's love of classic Vettes, it was hard to not spend hours there.  We got to see the repairs going on where the sinkhole sucked in a dozen Vettes in 2014 and got to see several prototype Vettes we never knew existed.  It was a great place with a lot of history. Several fun photos and souvenirs later we were in the car and on the way to ...
