    After over 4,000 miles, 13 different rooms/hotels and visiting over 45 Timmons and 11 Wall family members, NOT TO MENTION Rosie's mom, day and multiple uncles, aunts and of course Theresa, Rich & Ellie Goiffon we are home.

    My back and left arm are killing me (Rosie;s favorite driving position.

    All in all, a great time.

    Thanks for following our travels.

    ... the ride. Strangely, the riding wasn't the hardest part. For me, it was the daily logistics of packing cars, herding people, early-morning alarms, applying sunscreen and trying to stay fed and hydrated... I forgot to mention the constant battle of washing; both ourselves and our poor clothes.

    ... came with a kind of mustard sauce, green beans, potatoes, and cabbage that had been braised with apple smoked bacon.

    All of this (both of ours) came with creamed spinich with nutmeg and parmesan cheese that was really good.

    For dessert, mom ordered their award winning (with good reason) rice pudding and I had their syllabub, which was simply cream that was laced with wine then whipped and topped with fresh berries.
