As we left Bethesda, we headed south a couple hundred miles and back in time a couple hundred years... to 1775 in Colonial Williamsburg. As usual, we were late. Consequently, upon arrival, we realized that we weren't left with enough time to explore the apothecary, capitol building, governor's palace, and (most importantly)... the JAIL! So we needed to stay the night and continue our anachronistic hijinks into the next morning. We were fortunate enough to ...

After yummy Outback, we hung out by the river for awhile watching the sunset and Joel taught me a little about the boats (He works in the shipyard). We talked for awhile but when it got dark we had to head home :/ Me and joe said our goodbyes and road tripped back up north.

I can't wait to see all everybody again in Dec!

I woke up to the sound of heavy rain on the trailer this morning. By the time the sun was up, the rain had slowed to a drizzle, but it was still too wet to ride. I suited up in my rain gear and reflective vest, grabbed my walking sticks and headed out to explore the base a bit. I took a photo of my in my rain gear. It is lightweight, breathable, rain gear, but it is solid ...
