... to arrive at our destination midafternoon. I just wish I wouldn't need an hour to get ready in the morning. I do have one funny story. My alarm rang the second night we were traveling, so I crawled out of bed and took my shower. When I was just about to wake up Jim my clock/phone said it was 1:30 AM!! It was just someone calling the wrong number. Tomorrow we head for the Golden Spike Tower in North Platte, Nebraska. ...

Don't forget we were also at altitude (12,000 feet up - I don't know metres for that), but it definatly effects the breathing - however I felt fit and my legs, butt etc didn't really get too sore or cramp up etc so that was a good sign! Apart from the feet, it was an amazing hike, the most challenging one I have ever done and definatly the longest ...

... I had my first drive of the RV. So OK it was only in an empty parking lot but it's a start. The only disconcerting thing is looking in the rearview mirror and seeing the toilet door !! BRIAN - In Wal-Mart I heard this conversation, Customer on phone from car to Service Assistant - could he pick up goods in Spearfish that he left in Rapid City. Assistant asked colleague if she knew about this and what he had forgotten. 2nd Assistant "Yeh he forgot ...
