We were pretty pleased to be leaving Provincetown for a bigger city with hopefully some life. On the way down the coast we passed some mental halloween displays outside houses and took a detour to the Cape Cod crisp factory! Loads of free samples so I was happy. From Massachusetts to New England - scenery equally as beautiful and another long car journey. We stock up on Twinkies and Hershey bars (ignore this bit Hannah) and set off for Rhode Island. I think we are overwhelmed by the size of the place, what looks like a little speck on the map actually takes 20 minutes to drive through!! We pass ...

... something you hear about all your life so very worth seeing. The Mayflower II is very interesting. It is an exact duplicate of the original. To see how small it was and carried over 100 people sure made you think about what they sacrificed to come here.
