... Mark lost his Colorado hat (that he had somehow held on to the whole year) in the Corpus Christi airport. But the day wasn't all bad. Our long layover in Dallas meant that we had time to scarf down Qdoba burritos (Chipotle has to wait until Colorado). ... we saw our first rattlesnake ever! Up close and personal. In the middle of the fairway was a grassy mound, my ball landed to the left of the mound in the fairway, Bill was on the right side of the fairway, so he just walked over to his ball. When I came up to may ball, whoa, I saw this big, long rattlesnake sprawled out in the fairway. I parked the cart between us and hit my ball. I called Bill over and he said that he wasn’t coming anywhere near me -- LOL. ...
... boardwalk to the beach then he returned to "G/G" to get some towels. The boys played for a while in the sand and a little in the water. After about 30 minutes, we returned to "G/G", cleaned the kids up then they departed for home. It was nice to be with them for a while and the boys got used to us. We'll see how long that lasts.

... luncheon at 11:30. Don't know why it's called the Red Hat/ROMEO luncheon. The ROMEO part is "Retired Old Men Eating Out", so that fits, but no one wears a red hat. Anyway we were at this Seafood & Spaghetti Restaurant which probably seats about 80 and there were about 60 of us.
