... The landscape is really spectacular.

About 1/3 of our way down the trail, we had another first (for me at least) first wasp sting. It hurt, and I didn't know it was a wasp, my sister told me.

At the Visitor Center, there was a sign about the mosquito level. Aparently, the moquito level was moderate, which ment one was biting you every time ...

... Bryan I wiggled my way up the tree into the broken floorboards of the house. Both Bryan and Nick followed and we carefully explored the area. It was the coolest thing ever, so well designed this guy was a genius. Even though he is gone his work is still appreciated.

    Solid day.

... could. I became great friends with my roommates who I met on craigslist but turned out to be 2 of the most amazing people I have ever met. Their puppies are my favorite dogs in the world! They have a wonderful group of friends I have been lucky enough to hang out with and even their families have been incredibly welcoming.

Although not an ideal location, Columbia is a gem and I know that my time here will be enlightening and I WILL be sad to leave.
