We made it to Chattanooga, where we stayed at Homewood Suites! Everyone had their own bed and we were so happy that the first half of the trip was over! The only hiccup we had was there were NO restaurants open on Christmas Day...we were all starving for dinner that we ended up ordering from the only open place: a Waffle House. The food wasn't great, but it helped. I gave Brenna a bath in ...

high-casualty battle that was a significant Confederate victory. Union troops,
however, were victorious several months later in storming Lookout Mountain high
above Chattanooga, a win which set the stage for the Union forces movement
towards Atlanta and across Georgia in 1864. Point Park on Lookout Mountain is a

... to see if they could help us out. What we came back with was kind of like the child's dinner dream-10 Wendy's hamburgers, 10 small fries, 10 sodas, chips and salsa from a Mexican restaurant, leftover pasta and salad from last night, and deli sandwiches from Wal Mart. The 31 of us managed to devour everything. We wrapped up the night with affordable housing presentations and gossiped about the apparently 12% grade, 2 mile climb we are to hit early ...
