      ... see the "Blink" Christmas light display.

      Roscoe and Gwen have had a fantastic couple of weeks visiting with family, hanging out on the farm with Grandpa Marty and GG. Playing with Daddy's old toys at Grandma Gail and playing games with Uncle Wes (I believe a highlight for Roscoe). They have eaten more popsicles than I can possibly count and have enjoyed the "flexible" bedtime.

      Gwen turned the big 2 today!!! Big girl was spoiled by grandparents, ice cream cake and presents.       Roscoe, Gwen and Mom spent the day out and about. We had lunch and smoothies at the mall. A bit of shopping and a ride on the carousel.       ... is very pretty. I passed the Jim Beam factory somewhere along the way, managed to get through Louisville with only a few scary moments and then crossed the Ohio River to New Albany, Indiana. After that driving was a breeze. They have room for shoulders on the road! The weather was a bit of overcast but no rain.

      ... the stagnant lakes. The forests have since filled in but the ponds/lakes remain testimony to what occurred here.


      We rode the scooter through many miles of campground roads and neighboring country roads. We also had a great time going horseback riding at local stable. Couldn't believe the price, $15 for a 45 minute ride through a lovely forested area.
