After looking at the falls from several vantage points we had just about decided that we would wait until tomorrow when we go into Canada to take the Maid of the Mist boat ride. With everybody there, except for Jess who was in transit at JFK, we gathered for the rehearsal in the hotel's atrium, being walked through our paces by the wedding organiser. Finally, a lovely rehearsal dinner together in the restaurant at the hotel where we had a great time meeting and chatting to Pastor Eric and his wife who were going to do the ...

... to get to Doubleday Field, a fairly famous field for junior baseball teams to play on, but we had to wade through knee deep snow to get to the gate, and of course it was chained shut. In the end we gave up, and headed home in the expectation of a very long, slow day on the road. Certainly the minor roads back to the Interstate were slow and slippery, but after an hour we got back to the Interstate to find that it wasn't ...
