... the case as we spent the next half an hour wandering streets with Grey up front holding his phone out for the map like Dr Who. We eventually just piled into (yet another) Irish bar. The band had finished and the place was winding down but we didn't care. We got into a game of I Have Never, which ended up with Tom pouring his heart out about how he cheated on his girlfriend and is cutting his trip short to try and go and win her back. ... they had on the wall, and had fun swapping Italy stories with Lizzie and Eric over dinner. We capped the night off with cannoli at Mike's--my chocolate ricotta was soo good, and apparently there are other even awesome-r bakeries nearby. I probably could've spent the whole weekend eating in the North End, but we had a date with history on the morrow and called it an early night.

    Fine Place to stay

    I stayed at this hotel for a Trade Show. Admittedly, I miscalculated in selecting this hotel in relation to the convention center that housed the Trade Show I was attending. I was however, NOT disappointed in the hotel itself. I was on an overnight flight from the West Coast, arriving in Boston at about 7:00 am on a Sunday. I phoned the hotel in advance to see if they accepted checked luggage or what time early check in could be. To my surprise, they confirmed my reservation for early arrival and said I could check in as soon as I got into Boston.

    The hotel shuttle was quick to pick me up from the airport and true to their word; I was checked in @ 7:30 AM on Sunday. The room was much larger than I had expected and was very comfortable.

    The hotel has shuttles to both the "T" stop (subway) at the Wood Island station and the airport. They are constantly circulating to both locations, but it is wise to call for pick up to insure they don't miss you. They will also drop off and pick up at local restaurants as there are none within walking distance.

    Parking is free and plentiful as this is a "Park and Fly" hotel

    The location is far from Downtown Boston (see photos), but with access to the "T" (subway) you can be there in about 15 minutes depending on where you are headed.

    I would defiantly stay at this hotel again no matter where I have to be in the city.

    Convenient, Reasonable

    Stayed at the Hampton Inn the night prior to a flight out of Logan. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport, the shuttle runs frequently and the rate for the park and fly package is reasonable.

    We were placed in a room near the elevator and were concerned that the room would be noisey as the hotel appeared full. We were very pleasantly surprised that the room was quiet, but even more surprising the room was spotless. Kudos to housekeeping. The morning breakfast buffet was good, although eggs would have been nice for those of us who are allergic to wheat products.

    Stayed just one night in the Hampton Inn-Logan Airport before returning home and really enjoyed it! The rooms are really big, clean and new. Location is right on a busy motorway, but excellent for the airport, just 5-8 minutes. In case you want to go into Boston the hotel's shuttle service can drop you off at a subway station, which is great. The value for money is good, we got a great price through the website.

    For a quick stay in Boston, either after arriving at the airport or before leaving Boston I would recommend the Hampton Inn.

    My husband and i brought 2 of our small kids and our puppy (pug) to Boston for newyears weekend. we got a good deal for the king suite which allowed us to have a room seperate from the 5, and 8 year old. we found the shuttle service excellent and convienent!! the driver was always smiling and showed great customer service skills.

    the breakfast was delicious and had something for all of us. the kids watched cartoons on the diningroom tv! There are 2 dining rooms, so if others did not want to listen to cartoons, they had another room and tv to go to. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the hot tub, very hot, and great jets!. we wished they had a changing room and not just a bathroom. the kitchenett was just right, and the room was sparkling clean and very large. it was not the typical white walled drab room! it had a beautiful faux stucko design with a warm color. the view from the 7th floor of Boston was an unexpected treat! the kids loved looking at it and the sunset and the planes taking off in the distance. they even had their own tv! the room was very quite, even on newyears eve! the whole stay was relaxing and we would love to go again. the staff were all courteous, friendly, accomadating, and proffessional. Our pug was very well recieved. the ride to Boston on the T was only 10 minutes.

    I stayed at the Hampton 2 nights prior to a cruise to Bermuda and 1 night following. Very happy. Utilized the shuttle service often and they were always quick to respond. Free shuttle ON DEMAND (so no waiting an hour for the next shuttle!) to the airport and the subway so easy to get anywhere you want. It was my first time in Boston so I wanted to see some sights as well. They have a sightseeing Trolley service pick up and drop off at the hotel.

    Even had free internet access if you have you bring your laptop.

    I travel a lot and have not had better service at any high end hotel. Gave you helpful hints on where to eat or catch a movie. Gave the name of a great pizza place that delivers for when we wanted to stay in. Always with a smile. Good job Hampton Inn. Will stay there again next time!

    Yes, but... (location)

    Stayed at this Hampton Inn for three nights and it gets an above average rating for all the comfort and amenities it provides. Hampton Inns belong to the Hilton Group and if you are looking for an affordable, clean and spacious room without the luxury one would expect from a Hilton hotel you should definitely consider this Inn.

    The friendly staff will provide you with a reliable shuttle service, a very clean bathroom and a comfy bed. Most of all you can enjoy an excellent all-you-can-eat breakfast that will include cereals, fruit, danish, bagels, yoghurt and your choice of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk or juice. Also, snacks are provided after 5 pm.

    But when it comes to location, the above average rating cannot longer stand. All the bad things about the location that are mentioned in a previous review are true. Not even the gas station on the opposite side of the highway is within reach. Do not even consider walking more than 10 feet away from the property! So, you really depend on the shuttle that will take you to the subway and from/to the airport. By the way, when returning from Boston by subway, you can take the #22 or #33 bus from the airport station that will take you to the B or C terminal where it is easier to catch the Hampton Inn shuttle. But, by reading this, you will notice that although the hotel is just a few miles from the airport and the city the travel really is time-consuming.

    So, as a tourist visiting Boston, this Hampton Inn can hardly be recommended because of the location. If, however, you have a car this hotel becomes an excellent choice.

    Just Okay - Industrial Zone

    This hotel is located in the industrial area of Revere, MA. There is NOTHING close by except a gas station across the street. So if you don't have a car & are depending on the shuttle, you will not be able to walk anywhere to eat & the Hampton does not have a restaurant for dinner. The shuttle was timely but be sure to have a cell phone to call them each time to pick you up at the Wood Island station. I must admit, when the shuttle took us there the first time, I was wondering where the heck we were going. Lots of chemical tanks & litter in the street.

    Aside from forgetting to clean my room & an alarm clock that the hotel manager had to set because it was broken, it was good value for the money when compared to hotels in Boston. Just be aware the location leaves something to be desired, although I think it is a safe area.

    Also, the staff was very friendly!

    Nice, Unusaul Hampton

    Stayed at this Hampton for two nights and was expecting the typical Hampton Hotel, this is not a typical Hampton, they offered a full hot breakfast, indoor pool, lounge, fitness center and free parking. The rooms were great, perfect condition, modern, clean, and similar to what I found at Hilton Garden Inns and some Sheratons! Free Internet and breakfast along with their shuttle to the airport made the price acceptable at $139.00 . Its c lose to Boston and the shuttle will bring you tothe subway...no need for a car at this Hampton Inn.

    Convenient, basic Hampton Inn

    Stayed here for one night before an international flight with their Park and Fly package. The shuttle service is convenient and the staff is friendly. The room is fine, like most Hampton Inns. We had a nonsmoking room but we (and other guests, I heard the next day) had a problem with cigarette smoke coming into the room through the ventilation system from guests smoking in a nearby room (which was also supposed to be nonsmoking). The hotel sent a guard to investigate but that person didn't see anyone smoking, so they said there was nothing they could do. That marred an otherwise good stay.
