... adventurer, then you don't need much more than a day here. There is a lot more to do in nature, but just not inside the city. I was really intrigued by how big and cheap a lot of the houses are here. I also thought it was interested that a lot of Boise was used in the Oregon Trail. They have markers along select parts of the suburbs where the Oregon Trail used to be. I had no clue it used to be here.
HELLO and WELCOME to my very first blog!!! I really wanted to be able to share my future travel adventures and experiences more indepthly, and Facebook just didn't seem like the place to write a long blurp of my comings and goings. I can't believe ...
... highlights were seeing a Bald Eagle and an owl up close. Like i said it not right seeing these magnificent creatures locked up in a cage, but the center is doing some great work, without which the California Condor and others would no longer be in existence.
Next up lunch and our first chance to hit up a Man vs Food location (for those of you that have not seen the Travel channel show "Man vs Food" shame on you). We went to the "Flying Pie" ...
... We've been excited for six months. It’s beyond that. We’re ready to leave and get this show on the road (literally).
I hope to keep this blog updated every few days (once the trip begins) and will do my best to upload pics as we go along.
