On arrival at the Hampton Inn in Baltimore, the first thing we noticed was a huge baseball glove chair in the lobby.

There are some major similarities between our Washington hotel and our Baltimore one.
1) both on the 4th floor
2) both starting with 40_
3) both in a hallway after turning left off the elevator hall
4) both …

... full festivity mode for the 4th, so we stayed for fireworks that evening. They headed off early the next morning back towards Minnesota without me.

I had a few days left of my summer break, so I got ahold of my MN friend, Gretchen, that had just moved to Maryland and decided to hop a trail down to the Annapolis anyway. We had a fabulous time eating out – including dessert at Cold Stone Creamery – and driving a couple hours ...

... Baltimore was better prepared for the invaders than Washington had been. The US had fifteen skooners that made up the entire navy. They stationed three in the Chesapeake Bay. The fort held it's own for the 25 hour battle.

Now this is where I was overwhelmed. I have known the Star Spangled ...

... God still flies as a thing over here, everything was ******* shut. Denny's? Shut! Waffle House? SHUT!

Blood God.

Want some breakfast? Can't! Why? Cuz of GOD! You'd think that here, in America, anything getting in the way of a meal would be uniformly hated. But no.

Luckily Dunkin' Donuts was open and I rocked a sausage muffin and a coffee that sorted me right out! Put some warmth in my bones and washed all the cobwebs out of my mind. ...

    Chic and shiny

    from R0ckRidge

I booked this hotel based on it being "the only game in town" for a convention event. I expected a standard mid-grade hotel, and was very pleasantly surprised to find it more like a boutique hotel in New York or San Francisco. The decor is chic and modern, with blond wood, black-and-white photos, and splashes of color, as well as clever baseball-oriented touches like the "mitt" sofa in the lobby. The bed and bedding are comfortable enough to make you sigh, and the rooms, though not huge, are well equipped. Ours had a flat-panel TV, a huge glass-walled shower, and a clever breakfast tray/lap desk for the comfy bed.

Tiny down side? Parking is valet-only, and it can take up to 15 minutes to get your car. You're downtown, so park it and forget it, but expect to pay a downtown price ($26/day).

The free breakfast had a nice selection of breads and cereals, with a featured daily hot selection. A small supply of snacks and frozen meals can be found at the front desk. The staff was not just friendly but downright bubbly--they actually seemed to be loving their jobs! Combine this with the perfect location right across from Camden Yards, and you can't ask for anything more. Well played, Hampton Inn!

    Great Place To Stay

    from RegulatorNY

My wife and I stayed there two nights because of business at Johns Hopkins. Bottom line......This hotel is great.

    The price is great.

    The location is great.

The price for the valet parking with in and out priviliges is great.

This hotel is new and clean.

The staff are very attentive and accomodating.

    The beds are great.

    The rooms are quiet.

The breakfast which is free is great. Face it, I eat alot. I can load up on that breakfast and can go all day until dinner. This saves us breakfast and lunch money. This also saves us time. We serve ourselves and do not have to wait for the formality of going to a place, seeing a menu, ordering, eating, and paying a check. I like to think of this as having breakfast at home without having to cook or clean up.

    Absolutely stay here.

    Gran lugar para estar

    from RegulatorNY

    Exzellentes Hotel

    from pchr

    Excelente hotel

    from pchr

    Excellent hotel

    from pchr

new hotel conveniently located at the metro and camden yards.

comp.breakfast -food was fresh, plentiful. room was very clean and spacious. definitely would recommend.

    New hotel great location!!!

    from mybosox04

We also stayed there April 25-28 for Red Sox series. It is right next to Pickles Pub, which is great for pre game cocktails. I've stayed at the Brookshire Suites last year. It was alright. But the Hampton Inn Camden Yards is much newer and nicer. The hotel staff was nice especially the women who has to keep up with the breakfast rush. The breakfast selection is typical Hampton Inn.

Bagels, cereal, fruit, 2 hot items, good coffee, tea, this was enough for us. The BED was soooo comfortable. I will be staying here again. I paid $188.00 with AAA discount. Enjoy! you won't be disappointed.

Great location when attending a game at Camden Yards

    from dmmNh

We spent two nights while attending a couple of baseball games. The location was great - just step out of the front door, cross the street and we were at the gate.

The hotel is an easy walk to all of the inner harbor sights.

The breakfast buffet was well stocked. The staff was friendly.

This was a typical Hampton, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend for a family trip (half the price of some other harbor hotels) or just a quick trip to catch a game.

    from dmmNh

    from dmmNh
