    Chic and shiny

I booked this hotel based on it being "the only game in town" for a convention event. I expected a standard mid-grade hotel, and was very pleasantly surprised to find it more like a boutique hotel in New York or San Francisco. The decor is chic and modern, with blond wood, black-and-white photos, and splashes of color, as well as clever baseball-oriented touches like the "mitt" sofa in the lobby. The bed and bedding are comfortable enough to make you sigh, and the rooms, though not huge, are well equipped. Ours had a flat-panel TV, a huge glass-walled shower, and a clever breakfast tray/lap desk for the comfy bed.

Tiny down side? Parking is valet-only, and it can take up to 15 minutes to get your car. You're downtown, so park it and forget it, but expect to pay a downtown price ($26/day).

The free breakfast had a nice selection of breads and cereals, with a featured daily hot selection. A small supply of snacks and frozen meals can be found at the front desk. The staff was not just friendly but downright bubbly--they actually seemed to be loving their jobs! Combine this with the perfect location right across from Camden Yards, and you can't ask for anything more. Well played, Hampton Inn!

    Great Place To Stay

My wife and I stayed there two nights because of business at Johns Hopkins. Bottom line......This hotel is great.

    The price is great.

    The location is great.

The price for the valet parking with in and out priviliges is great.

This hotel is new and clean.

The staff are very attentive and accomodating.

    The beds are great.

    The rooms are quiet.

The breakfast which is free is great. Face it, I eat alot. I can load up on that breakfast and can go all day until dinner. This saves us breakfast and lunch money. This also saves us time. We serve ourselves and do not have to wait for the formality of going to a place, seeing a menu, ordering, eating, and paying a check. I like to think of this as having breakfast at home without having to cook or clean up.

    Absolutely stay here.

    Excellent hotel

new hotel conveniently located at the metro and camden yards.

comp.breakfast -food was fresh, plentiful. room was very clean and spacious. definitely would recommend.

    New hotel great location!!!

We also stayed there April 25-28 for Red Sox series. It is right next to Pickles Pub, which is great for pre game cocktails. I've stayed at the Brookshire Suites last year. It was alright. But the Hampton Inn Camden Yards is much newer and nicer. The hotel staff was nice especially the women who has to keep up with the breakfast rush. The breakfast selection is typical Hampton Inn.

Bagels, cereal, fruit, 2 hot items, good coffee, tea, this was enough for us. The BED was soooo comfortable. I will be staying here again. I paid $188.00 with AAA discount. Enjoy! you won't be disappointed.

Great location when attending a game at Camden Yards

We spent two nights while attending a couple of baseball games. The location was great - just step out of the front door, cross the street and we were at the gate.

The hotel is an easy walk to all of the inner harbor sights.

The breakfast buffet was well stocked. The staff was friendly.

This was a typical Hampton, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend for a family trip (half the price of some other harbor hotels) or just a quick trip to catch a game.

The shipping company required that we drop off the rig at least ten days before the scheduled ship departure. Since we asked for and got the next available shipping date, we had to rush to get the rig to the port on time. Now we have a chance to take a breath. We'll spend a couple days with my brother in Virginia, then head back to my ...

... on our trip a museum is anticlimactic. We are not much museum people but enjoyed the "bones and stones" museum where there are dinosaur bones, the Hope diamond, mummies and a very interesting exhibit on Genome.

The weather has turned cold very quickly, in the 30's last night with a high today in mid 50's. Good thing we are doing all inside stuff.

We spent the afternoon harbour side, starting with a speed boat ride from the inner harbour to Fort McHenry. We passed Fells Point, once a favourite entertainment spot for sailors has now been refurbished and gentrified. It featured in the movie Sleepless in Seattle. A beautiful view of the city from the harbour was also special. We then had a late shrimp lunch at Bubba ...

Falling asleep at the wheel is a serious situation. When I first spotted the sign that marked my transition from Tennessee to Oklahoma, I rejoiced like I have never rejoiced before. It was only two more hours from this landmark and I would be at my cousin's house in Oklahoma City, where I could relax and recuperate from my ...
