Historical Traveler Reviews Hampton Inn Baltimore-Downtown-Convention Center

    Chic and shiny

    from

I booked this hotel based on it being "the only game in town" for a convention event. I expected a standard mid-grade hotel, and was very pleasantly surprised to find it more like a boutique hotel in New York or San Francisco. The decor is chic and modern, with blond wood, black-and-white photos, and splashes of color, as well as clever baseball-oriented touches like the "mitt" sofa in the lobby. The bed and bedding are comfortable enough to make you sigh, and the rooms, though not huge, are well equipped. Ours had a flat-panel TV, a huge glass-walled shower, and a clever breakfast tray/lap desk for the comfy bed.

Tiny down side? Parking is valet-only, and it can take up to 15 minutes to get your car. You're downtown, so park it and forget it, but expect to pay a downtown price ($26/day).

The free breakfast had a nice selection of breads and cereals, with a featured daily hot selection. A small supply of snacks and frozen meals can be found at the front desk. The staff was not just friendly but downright bubbly--they actually seemed to be loving their jobs! Combine this with the perfect location right across from Camden Yards, and you can't ask for anything more. Well played, Hampton Inn!

    Great Place To Stay

    from

My wife and I stayed there two nights because of business at Johns Hopkins. Bottom line......This hotel is great.

    The price is great.

    The location is great.

The price for the valet parking with in and out priviliges is great.

This hotel is new and clean.

The staff are very attentive and accomodating.

    The beds are great.

    The rooms are quiet.

The breakfast which is free is great. Face it, I eat alot. I can load up on that breakfast and can go all day until dinner. This saves us breakfast and lunch money. This also saves us time. We serve ourselves and do not have to wait for the formality of going to a place, seeing a menu, ordering, eating, and paying a check. I like to think of this as having breakfast at home without having to cook or clean up.

    Absolutely stay here.

    Gran lugar para estar

    from

    Exzellentes Hotel

    from

    Excelente hotel

    from

    Excellent hotel

    from

new hotel conveniently located at the metro and camden yards.

comp.breakfast -food was fresh, plentiful. room was very clean and spacious. definitely would recommend.

    New hotel great location!!!

    from

We also stayed there April 25-28 for Red Sox series. It is right next to Pickles Pub, which is great for pre game cocktails. I've stayed at the Brookshire Suites last year. It was alright. But the Hampton Inn Camden Yards is much newer and nicer. The hotel staff was nice especially the women who has to keep up with the breakfast rush. The breakfast selection is typical Hampton Inn.

Bagels, cereal, fruit, 2 hot items, good coffee, tea, this was enough for us. The BED was soooo comfortable. I will be staying here again. I paid $188.00 with AAA discount. Enjoy! you won't be disappointed.

Great location when attending a game at Camden Yards

    from

We spent two nights while attending a couple of baseball games. The location was great - just step out of the front door, cross the street and we were at the gate.

The hotel is an easy walk to all of the inner harbor sights.

The breakfast buffet was well stocked. The staff was friendly.

This was a typical Hampton, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend for a family trip (half the price of some other harbor hotels) or just a quick trip to catch a game.

    from

    from

When I was a kid in middle school and into my high school years I used to nag my parents with some success to travel. That meant road trips in the eastern part of the U.S. and a few times into Canada. We covered many of the iconic monuments of American history that kids learn about in school on those trips – the White House and Capitol in Washington, DC, George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, the Freedom Trail historic sights in Boston, ...

We had a super visit with sista, lots of laughs; also hawk watching at Fort Smallwood Park, lunch at the Chipolte's Inner Harbor, with a stop at Ft. McHenry where we ran into Judy Smith. Judy gave ...

It was really interesting hearing their perspectives and the system here operates in a different way to most other systems so it is really useful for my project drawing comparisons between them. I got back to the accommodation late as I kept seeing interesting cases at the hospital so stayed until their handover. Luckily I had bought some supplies from the ...

... I said goodbye to current co-workers, and I said goodbye to all the kids I've worked with in some capacity or another during the past five years. Saying goodbye to the kids was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but they were another one of those elements of my current life that I had to let go of in order to pursue my Vision Quest. I had to go on alone, and without baggage. Let everything go. The night before my departure I threw away everything I had that wouldn't fit in ...

So than we gave him the money and he signed the title and we drove away in our new Vehicle...haha just kidding

We told Carlos Bryan that we would call him back when we arranged a new appointment with the Inspection center and left..... I don't think this will be our car.
