        We then went on to the airport where we had a dinner at the "Down Under" restaurant, talked a while and said our good-byes.

        We truly truly enjoyed the entire Porteous family. We feel we know them, the churches and have lots to look forward together.

        Our flight is on time and we left at 10:45 PM for the United States on Air New Zealand.

        Today dawned sunny and bright. We definitely saw the dawn as we were all in bed by 9 the previous night and still on Boston time, awake at 5 a.m. The hotel had a nice buffet breakfast and I enjoyed a walk around the hotel, savoring the warm air.         ... different airline. Confused, we went to another gate where we saw people from Allegiant. The woman told us our flight was delayed by three hours and we should have signed up for text alerts. I asked why there were no screens telling us this and she said because the screens don't show up to that time because it is over three hours away. Great. Very helpful.
