It must have been 28 degrees with beautiful blue skies when we stopped at Buttonwillow. As another leg of my trip comes to an end, it's time to reflect on my few days in San Francisco. ... some time in the morning at the airport in Bangkok, Thailand and had to rush to get to our next flight. The airport was beautifully constructed and we needed to go down a spiral ramp to get into our gate. ... ride, but the story and the things to see were amazing and very well done.

After a burger and some fries, we caught the train along the Disneyland Railroad which gave us a great snapshot of the park, with a commentary on the things we'd see along the way, including a fantastic model tens of metres long and several high of the Grand Canyon and 'life in the time of the dinosaurs'. We headed to Splash Mountain which I was dreading as there was a 50 foot drop where our ...

... we said goodbye to 'America’s finest city’ with its perfect weather and its laidback population. A two hour greyhound bus took us to Los Angeles where my dear friend Marc was waiting for us. LA’s public transport system is not set up very well which results in many people travelling by car which in turn leads to enormous daily traffic jams and a thick layer of smog hanging above the city. Marc is my friend Kim’s cousin and when he visited her in Utrecht ...
