... clouds overhead. I checked the AWOS and, sure enough, it agreed. The field was now VFR and we loaded up for the trip out. We climbed out from RWY 16, turned right to the north, skirted the Navy airspace to the west, and navigated around very few wispy clouds at 1200-1500 feet AGL. We were on our way to 6500' MSL over scattered clouds and a million miles visibility. Nice. Next stop would be Dalhart, TX. Or would ...

Go, no-go decision... After a good nights sleep, we enjoyed some coffee, eggs with grits and some beignets from the Q&C restaurant, and then headed to the airport. I ordered a 10oz steak (the smallest) and ate ...

... houses and shopping centres are sterile, empty of soul boxes. I was glad to be out of there. I must concede that there is a small older part of Frisco that has charm. After my stroll trough history I meet up with Jean and Arezou at 'Jupiter House' where they were studying with coffee! I made myself comfortable and finished my book 'The Wailing Wind', a damn good read. I finally got to yoga today, what a treat. When the lady -Jenny-who took the class heard I was going ...

... still burying nuts (pecans from Jean's trees) and out the front there is a pair of mockingbirds hopping around the tree. Wildflowers abound in people's yards and often they don't mow until the seeds are set, or mow around the patch. Jean's cats are warming to me and I am getting rubs and being asked for pats and head scratches. A soft cool breeze is wafting through the window and I can sleep under covers which is a pleasant ...
