... on. On the outskirts of Valkenburg we spotted a campsite sign and followed several others leading us to De Bron campsite. A bit close to the motorway we had just departed, but fortuitously an ACSI site (discount!) which sported two swimming pools (closed) a bar/restaurant, and lots of empty space. We bagged one for €18. Facilities were excellent. BBQ and wine finished off the day. Mileage: ...

No.2 Python this is one of those crazy rides were you go round in loops and corkscrews ...

After a while I asked were we nearly at the border & they laughed & said it was very early on, when we crossed the water. Back at the Mechelen house they were trying to work out on the computer to top up my sim card - wouldn't take my 2 cards, nor Linda's 2, on the 5th go, it took Gilbert's Belgian card. Whew. We farewelled them & went to ...

... a wander through the town, we headed north, the smell of Eindhoven, still fragrancing the air, to Utrecht to pick up the final registration papers for Larz. Signed and sealed and officially now ours, we drove Larz up to Amsterdam for a couple of days of sightseeing and exploring.

Arriving at Campground Zeeburg, a bohemian hide-away on the bank of the canals, we unloaded the bikes and set off to find a supermarket to restock our cupboards and the beer ...
