Jos and Fenny take me to nearby Assen to see the Drents Museum (gallery). The building is old, not surprising, and has been lifted to allow windows to be placed at the bottom. Surprising and amazing. Inside we wander through several exhibits including one of sculpture by german artist Laura Eckert, I found her use of wood and marble fascinating. The Glasgow ...
Familiar faces and another warm welcome that reminds me how fortunate I am to have such a family, both at home and here. Sunny and warm but not too hot for most of this visit.
