... a Thai place for some dinner later on (where we payed the hefty sum of three euros for a Pad Thai). The next day doesn't need much explaining - Monday morning Niamh woke up to tell us she'd been up all night with a fever, I'd woken up with a killer sore throat and Marco had a blocked nose, sore throat and a headache. Lia was the only one who wasn't sick at this point but since she was in the apartment with three sick people, she was destined to catch something at some point. And ...
The bus got stopped at 2am for passport control! These Europeans are so serious! This is Mila taking over Lerato's blog because I need to stress how dramatic this is. When we arrived in Uelsen, we looked for steeples because we figured the church would be a good place to start looking for Masselinks. The church we ...
The sad thing about the EU is there are no borders to get your passport stamped. Here we just got our 10 year passport and only have one stamp :<(. Ah well, we have pictures.
We went to the market in Winterswijk today. This was a small market because it was a weekday. Verena told us that the markets on weekends is twice the size. The shops and food was amazing. I was surprised to see so many dogs about, but this appears to ...
