Bye Bye Brugge... Hello London!
My last day in Brugge- wait I think I am having deja vu! I've already left Brugge once before on this trip.... But alas, it was time for me to continue on with my travels and go back to London. I wanted to go back since when I was there in October I was only there for one day and I didn't see anything since I was catching up with some friends I hadn't seen in 4 years.

Merlebeke was a great little stop really. i chatted to the barman who is a real foody. They do international food days regularly. They did africa, sweeden, italy etc. I showed him a haggis recipe and as he loves eating offal he thought a scottish day would go down well. it was snowing heavily when I got up. It didnt settle on the ground long though as it was still about 2c. ...

Biking to Holland
Slept good last night and since it was a bit wet out from late night rains, we snoozed a little more in the morning. We got out around 10:00 and walked next door to the market to buy some breakfast and lunch for our bike ride today. Brugge - VIking town
Brugge is a town north west of Brussels and has a historical background dating back to the Viking era. We had a river boat ride and saw a lot beautiful sites. We had a tradition Belgium lunch with beer marinated stew and a local recipe chicken dish.
