... though. I have grown accustom to walking into a room and not hearing any English and I love it. It makes the world a bit quieter when I can't drop in on the conversations around me.
Our summer school program has taken two different trips to see parts of the Netherlands and I have really fallen for this country. The 'work to live' lifestyle most definitely agrees with me. So when I am not dodging cars/people/other ...

An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.
An evening meal with Fabriek family and then back to ...

Went to a waterpark in Groningen today. It had a waterslide and I think we went down it fifty times! When we went grocery shopping we used these cool scanning things to add your things up as you shop. Every sauce in Holland seems to have mayonnaise in it. Later in the day we went op-shopping and I found an awesome purple suit. Watched world cup football on the TV that ...
