... amp; forwards, John heard that he'd got to the port. Phew!

John said he'd drive us in the Lotus (I've had more practise & can now get out by myself!) into Groningen, along with Sarah, so we went to a nice pavement cafe & had a lovely meal while we watched the world go by (mostly on bikes). Steve & John managed to find their way into the red light district, and came out giggling like a pair of school girls!

... part, and I joined them on their last day for a 10k walk. Very 'gezellig' and great to spend some time with Dutch kids. Regina is the daughter of John's cousin Erwin, and his wife Mirjam, who we stayed with.

It was fantastic to see the town flying its colours for Holland's team, Ons Oranje. (H)
